Identify and repair visible leaks that waste water or cause damage.
Set the timer for the season, landscape needs, and local watering rules.
Common spring issues we find
After a long Idaho winter, a start up service catches issues early—saving water, money, and headaches all season long.

Freeze damage can crack or break heads, causing uneven watering, dry spots, and wasted water.

Small leaks can waste water and lead to soggy yards, foundation issues, and higher bills.

Clogged nozzles, misaligned heads, or broken components can leave patchy, inconsistent coverage.

Old settings can cause overwatering, underwatering, or irrigation at the wrong time of day.
Our start up service finds these issues early so your system runs efficiently, your lawn stays healthy, and you avoid costly repairs down the road.
Why not just turn the water on yourself?
Simply flipping the switch can cause more harm than good.
Hidden leaks or breaks can waste hundreds of gallons of water and lead to bigger repair bills. Air in the lines can cause water hammer, which can damage pipes and fittings.
Our start up process is designed to protect your system and ensure everything works properly from day one.
What to expect from your start up
We run each zone, make adjustments for even coverage, program the controller, and explain any additional work before it begins.
A professional start up carefully brings water back to the system, checks every zone, looks for leaks and winter damage, makes minor head adjustments, and programs the controller for a sensible seasonal starting point.
We explain what we find and provide straightforward recommendations. Minor adjustments may be handled during the visit when practical; larger repairs receive clear next steps before additional work is scheduled.
Schedule before your landscape needs consistent irrigation. Spring weather varies, so booking early gives you time to correct winter damage before hot, dry conditions arrive.
Yes. We program the controller for a practical seasonal starting point and explain how the schedule may need to change as temperatures rise.
Timing depends on the number of zones, property access, controller location, and any problems found. Most residential systems are completed during one scheduled visit.
Yes. We can start and inspect systems winterized by another provider or shut down by the homeowner, as long as the main components and controller are accessible.
A zone-by-zone check can reveal many visible leaks, broken heads, valve problems, and weak-coverage symptoms. Buried or intermittent problems may require additional troubleshooting.

You will receive an email confirming your request was submitted. It will include important details of what to expect. You will receive an email notification for your scheduled visit 5–7 days ahead of the appointment. You will also receive text reminders for your visit. If we have cancellations or openings, we may contact you to possibly fill that spot. During our busiest times—Blowout Season or Spring Start Ups—it may take 3–4 weeks to get you scheduled. We appreciate your patience during these times. Feel free to text or email us to check in on your appointment.
No problem! You do not need to be home for your scheduled visit. We usually need access to your sprinkler timer to diagnose issues or test our repairs. As long as you have communicated any instructions for access to the timer, gates will be open, and pets will not be in the yard, we can usually complete the work while you’re away. If we encounter any issues, we will let you know!
