How much does a new sprinkler system cost?
Pricing depends on the property size and layout, zone count, water pressure, controller, backflow protection, drip areas, hardscape, and access. After an on-site walkthrough, Boise Sprinkler Guy prepares a property-specific estimate.
How long does sprinkler installation take?
Timing depends on the property, scope, weather, and whether the landscape is bare dirt or established. We explain the anticipated schedule with the installation estimate.
When is the best time to install a sprinkler system?
Before final landscaping is the cleanest window, but spring and fall are also excellent seasons. Installation is possible in summer when the property and restoration plan allow it.
Can you install sprinklers in an established lawn?
Yes. We plan access and trenching carefully, preserve practical sections of sod, and discuss a restoration plan before work begins.
Can you install a smart sprinkler controller?
Yes. Controller selection and programming can be included so watering is organized by zone, plant needs, and season.
Do you install drip irrigation for beds, shrubs, and trees?
Yes. Drip zones can deliver slow, targeted water to planting beds, shrubs, trees, and other areas where overhead spray is not the right fit.
What is included in an installation estimate?
The estimate describes the proposed zones, principal components, controller and backflow approach, installation scope, anticipated timing, and any property-specific considerations.
Will the system have separate zones for different plants?
That is the goal of thoughtful design. Lawn, sunny beds, shaded areas, trees, and drip irrigation often need different schedules and delivery methods.
How soon will I hear from Boise Sprinkler Guy after submitting my service request?
You will receive an email confirming your request was submitted. It will include important details of what to expect. You will receive an email notification for your scheduled visit 5–7 days ahead of the appointment. You will also receive text reminders for your visit. If we have cancellations or openings, we may contact you to possibly fill that spot. During our busiest times—Blowout Season or Spring Start Ups—it may take 3–4 weeks to get you scheduled. We appreciate your patience during these times. Feel free to text or email us to check in on your appointment.
What if no one can be home for our appointment?
No problem! You do not need to be home for your scheduled visit. We usually need access to your sprinkler timer to diagnose issues or test our repairs. As long as you have communicated any instructions for access to the timer, gates will be open, and pets will not be in the yard, we can usually complete the work while you’re away. If we encounter any issues, we will let you know!
