Custom Zone Design
Zones are planned around sun, shade, lawn shape, plant material, and watering needs.
Sprinkler repair experts
Broken head? Leaking line? Zone not working? Boise Sprinkler Guy diagnoses and repairs sprinkler problems throughout Boise and the Treasure Valley.
Designed for your yard
Every yard is different. Sprinkler systems vary by lawn shape, existing landscaping, sun and shade, slopes, soil conditions, water pressure, plant material, and how each zone was originally designed. A repair should begin with the system that is actually in the ground—not a generic assumption about what should be there.
That matters in the Treasure Valley, where a sunny front lawn, shaded side yard, mature trees, flower beds, and newer landscaping can all need different watering strategies. Thoughtful troubleshooting helps identify the real cause of dry spots, overspray, runoff, weak coverage, leaks, or a zone that will not operate correctly.

Built as a complete system
A sprinkler system is more than a few parts. Every component plays a role in getting the right water to the right place at the right time.
Heads are adjusted and replaced when needed so coverage is even and efficient.
Valves open and close zones with the pressure and timing needed for reliable watering.
The controller organizes watering by zone and schedule and helps coordinate the entire system.
Hidden leaks in lines, fittings, and valves can waste water and reduce pressure elsewhere.
Head spacing, pressure, spray direction, and run time all affect how evenly an area is watered.
Backflow components protect the water supply and may require inspection, service, or repair.
Repair what’s broken
Small sprinkler issues can become bigger problems fast. Find the cause, make the repair, and test the system so it works the way it should.
Save water & money
When a sprinkler system is operating correctly, the landscape receives water more consistently and unnecessary waste is easier to control.

Helpful answers before you book
Repair cost depends on the problem, parts required, and access to the damaged component. A broken sprinkler head is usually a different repair from a buried line leak, valve problem, or controller issue. We diagnose the system first so the estimate reflects the actual cause.
Many common repairs can be completed during a standard service visit. Buried leaks, wiring problems, multiple affected zones, or difficult-to-access components may take longer. We typically schedule a visit to look at the issue, then email you an estimate for review. Once approved, we schedule a new day and time to do the repairs. On occasion, if it is a minor issue and the technician has time, the work can be completed during the first visit. If you send enough detail and a photo of the issue, we may also be able to provide an estimate without coming out, then schedule the work upon approval.
Availability depends on the schedule and the type of repair needed. Call or request service as early as possible and describe the problem so we can determine the best available appointment.
Service-call and diagnostic pricing can depend on the work requested and current service policy. Confirm the current service-call details when scheduling so you know what to expect before the visit. Estimates are typically free of charge. If the service call requires troubleshooting to diagnose the issue, there could be a service charge.
Common signs include soggy or unusually green areas, bubbling water, water appearing when the system is off, weak pressure, a zone that performs differently than normal, or an unexpected increase in irrigation water use.
If a repair requires a special part, additional troubleshooting, or more extensive work, we’ll explain the next step before scheduling additional work.
You will receive an email confirming your request was submitted. It will include important details of what to expect. You will receive an email notification for your scheduled visit 5–7 days ahead of the appointment. You will also receive text reminders for your visit. If we have cancellations or openings, we may contact you to possibly fill that spot. During our busiest times—Blowout Season or Spring Start Ups—it may take 3–4 weeks to get you scheduled. We appreciate your patience during these times. Feel free to text or email us to check in on your appointment.
No problem! You do not need to be home for your scheduled visit. We usually need access to your sprinkler timer to diagnose issues or test our repairs. As long as you have communicated any instructions for access to the timer, gates will be open, and pets will not be in the yard, we can usually complete the work while you’re away. If we encounter any issues, we will let you know!
